Our Mission
Recuperative Hope Corporation supports people experiencing homelessness with a focus on healing and community support. Alongside our partners, we aim to improve the lives of vulnerable groups such as veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities by coordinating healthcare, providing meals, offering social services, and fostering hope.
RHC welcomes adults who pertain to vulnerable demographic groups. As a core value we believe in individuality, and we respect the background of all our guests. We understand the importance of catering to both men and women. Working along with the Veterans Association, we welcome all our military service men, and women. In addition to hosting veterans, the facility welcomes the senior population. The center includes programs to help seniors with valuable resources necessary to relocate them into long-term housing, family reunification.

Seniors and people with disabilities make up a significant portion of guests. According to The Los Angeles Times, 50% of unsheltered individuals had two disabilities and 26% had three or more at once (Doug Smith and Benjamin Oreskes, Oct. 07, 2019). Partnering with organizations that support these groups can demonstrate, through data, the potential for community efforts to reduce homelessness.
Many individuals leaving hospitals are medically stable but cannot recover safely because they lack housing. Recuperative care provides temporary housing and support services so individuals can heal properly while connecting to long-term resources.
